“MAN” IN MANICURE

So what’s the latest trend in manscaping? According to some recent research into the subject by Fashionista.com, it seems men are putting the “man” back into manicure—and pedicures for that matter. Some new lacquer lines have emerged catering specifically to guys with more masculine colors—and we’re assuming with less cutesy names than “Ballet Slippers” and “Nice Is Nice.” “It’s not a secret that men are getting into fancy grooming products. Many companies which offer beauty products specifically designed for men have sprouted up, and established brands have unisex packaging that makes it really popular among girls and boys alike,” says the website. “As far as manly nail polish goes, it’s relatively tasteful, with a few dark metallics thrown in for good measure.” While heavy metal bands and rock stars have been wearing polish since the ’70s, it remains to be seen if this trend will take off with the guys in suits.
