BEAUTY SCHOOL HISTORY CLASS
Glamour.com has culled the Greatest Moment in Lipstick History, from Bette Davis’ precisely lined lips of the 1930s and 1940s to Brigitte Bardot’s neutral lips in the 1960s to Rooney Mara’s dark vampy pout at the Met Gala last year. However, one of those iconic moments may have just happened this past week on the often-overlooked MTV Music Awards red carpet of all places, when she of the fabulous red lips, Rita Ora, who sang at DKNY’s 25th birthday bash, flashed a smile that was hailed as “perfection” by Allure.com. Not all that unlike Marilyn Monroe, who of course, has her esteemed place in lipstick history.
