It’s the last day to catch the exhibition, “NYC, c. 1985,” before it closes at ClampArt in Chelsea. Part time capsule, part group show, this exhibit features some of the era’s most prominent photographers, including Nan Goldin and filmmaker Larry Clark. Back in May, it opened just a few days before the New Museum’s similar exhibit, “NYC 1993: Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star,” closed. Call it curated nostalgia and take a look back at the mid-’80s with portraits of Madonna and The Clash by Amy Arbus, as well as street style shots by Gunar Roze and images of downtown nightlife by Keizo Kitajima.
