GET IN TOUCH WITH YOUR “PERCEPTIONS”
Opening tonight at the Fuse Gallery downtown, “Perceptions” is an interactive multimedia experience from rock’n’roll photographer Aliya Naumoff, who got her start assisting David LaChapelle. However, forget touch-screen swishes and swipes, this interactive multimedia experience is going old-school—as in liquid-filled, plastic puff stickers that you have to push down on to see the images of pop stars. Kind of like your childhood sticker collection only cooler: The point is to mirror the drive people have to touch and know celebrities, even if they only really see them in fabricated images. Get it?
