NEW-OLD HOTSPOTS
The Pink Elephant is back. Bungalow 8 is reincarnated as No. 8, and now, in the latest instance of old-hotspots-made-new, Vanity Fair’s Graydon Carter unveiled his long-awaited tribute to the storied Beatrice Inn. Inside the old haunts where Paul Sevigny et al hosted uber-exclusive, late-nights-out, Carter’s team has installed a fine-dining establishment—with a menu from Per Se alum Brian Nasworthy. Reports Eater.com, “Carter and Co. have created an old-school American restaurant with a bar in the front, an airy dining room in the back, and another cozy dining room off to the side.”
