BLACK AND BROWN
Looking for a hot new makeup trick? Use black and brown liners together for glamorous, old Hollywood results, advises Allure.com. The beauty site tapped makeup artist Brigitte Reiss-Andersen for tips on layering brown and black liner. Says Reiss-Andersen: “Black on black is too harsh, but black on brown is softer.” The best technique is to use black liner and mascara on the top lashes and then brown liner and mascara on the bottom lashes. Makeup artist Tom Pecheux agrees, “Black lifts the eyes on the top, but on the bottom, it can drag them down. By putting brown on the bottom you still look made up, but in a pleasant, sensual way.”
