It’s role reversal at the MoMA: The museum’s Artist’s Choice series lets artists play curators. For its latest installment, which opened on Friday, Trisha Donnelly puts together an exhibition drawn entirely from the MoMA’s collection. A NYC-based conceptual artist who teaches at NYU, Donnelly is known for her skillful media mixing. Given free rein over three galleries spanning the museum’s fourth and fifth floors, Donnelly styles the MoMA her way with 20th-century photos, design items, paintings, and sculptures. Can she come and do our apartment next?
