“THE SUN’LL COME OUT” PSA
After a string of gray days this week, the bright forecast for the
weekend provides plenty of temptation to get out and overdose on
vitamin D. But beware even when you’re careful about slathering on
sunscreen, sometimes burns still happen: In case of an accidental
scorcher, Allure.com offers up tips for what to do: First take two
ibuprofen and then jump in a cold shower. Follow that up by dabbing 1
percent hydrocortisone cream on the burned area and moisturize
diligently with a fragrance-free, after-sun lotion. Remember the best
cure is prevention, so wear a stylish, wide-brimmed sunhat, some
shades, and ample SPF, of course.
