“REEL” LUNCH BITES
There is free lunch in New York, after all! Well, sort of, in the more
metaphoric afternoon-tea-party-food-for-thought kind of way. Bring
your invisible picnic basket because there won’t be any actual, real
food served, but there will be plenty to chew on at the Tribeca Film
Festival’s free Future of Film Lunch Series this afternoon. Featuring
hosts Annie Correal and Jigar Mehta (director of “18 Days in Egypt”),
the lecture-discussion will examine projects that have redefined the
use of digital technology in filmmaking and its impact on the future
of the industry. If “reel” bites aren’t enough though, there’s an
onsite café for grabbing lunch before or after.
