If there’s one thing that’s clear these days, it’s that long hair is
having a moment…one very long moment, super-long even: Designed for
young women with back-grazing, long hair, Cristalliste, the latest
line from Kérastase, offers two shampoos (one for fine hair and one
for thick), as well as a conditioner, which are all created to nourish
extra-long tresses. Allure.com caught up with hairstylist Matt Fugate
of the Sally Hershberger Downtown salon for his thoughts on the latest
trends in long hair. Fugate explains, “when your hair gets super-long,
you want something lightweight.” A product like Kérastase Cristalliste
works because “the high-foaming part means it’s got oxygen pumped in
it [so you] can get it through your hair easier, and it rinses out
well.”
