It’s one of the most memorable scenes in “Goonies” when Stef tries tostop the kids from collecting coins out of a wishing well, and Mouthcynically responds, “This was my dream, my wish. And it didn’t cometrue. So I’m taking it back.” The New York Times’ City Room blog hasdiscovered NYC has its own version of a wishing well—on the G line inBrooklyn of all places. “At the Broadway station, hundreds of coinslie beneath the water on the track bed.
